Very nicely said. The talking is such an important part of it, and you just don't HEAR that from most people. If you are not already experienced enough in relationships to know this already, you have no clue. The fact that talking might be useful BEFORE getting married is just not discussed. You just get trite sayings about the marriage itself, like 'don't go to bed angry.'
Better if there was: don't get married before you find out what you each want, what's a deal breaker, and so on. It would make things so much better, emotionally, in the long run, definitely.
